Scheduling a Tool

You can adjust the settings for each tool’s scheduled frequency, time, and start date.

Each tool contains different tests or scans. You can find more information about scheduling individual tools in the sections about those tools. This procedure explains how to schedule any tool.

To schedule a tool:

1       On the Fix & Maintain tab, click System Scheduler.

2       Select a tool to schedule.

3       Click Schedule or double-click the tool to schedule.

4       Choose a frequency from the list.

5       In the Starting Time box, type the start time.

You can also select a portion of the current time and then click the up or down arrows. If you click Now+2 min, SystemSuite adds two minutes to the current time.

6       To specify the scheduled date, in the Starting Date box, type the first date to run the test. You can also click the arrow to the right of the date to select a date from a calendar.

7       Complete any other settings for the tool and click OK. (For example, when scheduling Disk Defrag, select the disks to defragment.)

8       Repeat the steps for each tool you want to schedule.

9       Click Next.
