Disk Fixer Overview

Disk Fixer can perform two types of scans — a scan for consistency errors and a surface scan for read errors. A surface scan takes a lot of time, but running a surface scan once a month can help maintain your hard drive’s health.

Disk Fixer can scan and fix multiple drives at once. It can also notify you each time it finds a problem, so you can address each problem individually.

If your computer crashes when you open a particular file, a specific program crashes consistently, or you receive blue screen errors, a file may be saved on damaged sector.
