User Account Control (UAC) is a Windows feature that monitors programs that attempt to make changes to your computer or Windows settings. Many of the changes may be valid and necessary, such as upgrading software, so it is important to determine how much control you need over changes to your computer.
If you visit new and different websites, you may want a higher level of control, but if you frequently perform the same types of actions, a moderate amount of control may be adequate. Refer to your UAC information to determine the setting that is best for your usage.
When a program attempts to make changes to your computer, UAC notifies you before any changes are made so that you can decide whether to approve them.
SystemSuite monitors UAC to make sure that notification is set up and working correctly. To change the notification settings, click Change notification settings.
