Creating a Recovery Commander Checkpoint

SystemSuite can automatically create Recovery Commander checkpoints on a regular basis. However, you can create a checkpoint at any time. You can also use Recovery Commander to create a System Restore checkpoint. System Restore checkpoints save system files that Windows uses to function.

To create a checkpoint:

1       On the Fix & Maintain tab, click System Recovery and then choose Create Checkpoint.

2       In the Description box, type a name for the checkpoint.

3       To create a System Restore checkpoint when you create the Recovery Commander checkpoint, select the Create System Restore checkpoint as well check box.

4       Click Next.

5       Recovery Commander creates the checkpoints.

6       To save the results, click Save.
