Disabling Items that Create a Security Risk

Items may be a security risk are rated Not Recommended. You should disable these items and possibly remove them.

To disable items rated “not recommended”:

1       In the Startup Areas section, select all of the check boxes to make sure Startup Commander is including all areas.

2       In the Include Ratings section, clear all of the check boxes, except the Not recommended check box.

The information pane lists only the files that pose a risk.

3       Select each item you want to disable. Hold down the SHIFT key and click the first and last item to select the entire list.

4       Click Disable.

You also have the option to enable and remove items in this list.
