Editing Proxy Server Settings

If your computer uses a proxy server, you may need to set the proxy options in SystemSuite. Very few home users use proxy servers, but corporate networks often use them.

If you do not know if you are using a proxy server, ask your Internet Service Provider or system administrator whether you need to set proxy server information.

To change proxy server settings:

1       Click Settings to open the Settings dialog box.

2       Click Anti-Malware, and then click the Proxy Server tab.

3       Select I connect to the Internet using a proxy server.

4       In the Server Address box, type the proxy server’s IP address.

5       In the Port box, type the proxy server’s port number.

6       If your proxy server requires authentication, select the Server requires authentication check box.

7       From the Type of Authentication list, select the type of authentication.

8       Type the user name, password, and domain name used in authentication in the corresponding boxes.

9       Click OK.
