If You Cannot Start Your Computer

If your computer has crashed and will not start, or if you suspect that your computer is infected with a virus, you cannot install SystemSuite until the problem has been fixed.

If your computer had a virus, the most important priority is to clean your computer, to get back up and running as quickly as possible, and to make sure you have not lost any data. If you can, save data to removable media, such as a USB drive.

If your computer does not start normally, you have several options.

§       Start in Windows Safe Mode.

§       Use SystemSuite Recovery Commander to start from a previous checkpoint.

§       Start from a rescue CD or DVD.

§       Using Windows XP, start the Windows Recovery Console. Using Windows Vista and Windows 7, use the System Recovery Options menu.
