You can partially restore a Recovery Commander checkpoint. Recovery Commander lists the differences between your computer now and at the time the checkpoint was created. You can select which items to restore.
To partially restore a Recovery Commander checkpoint:
1 On the Fix & Maintain tab, click System Recovery and choose Restore Checkpoint.
2 Click Restore Checkpoint.
3 Select a Recovery Commander checkpoint to restore.
4 Select the Identify differences before restore check box.
5 Click Next.
6 To display only the items that are different between your computer now and your computer at the time the checkpoint was created, select the Show only differences check box.
7 To restore an item, select its check box.
8 To select all items, click Select All.
9 Click Next.
10 A dialog box opens, asking if you want to continue. To create a checkpoint of your computer right now, select the Create an Undo checkpoint and a System Restore Undo checkpoint check box.
By creating Undo checkpoints, if restoring the checkpoint you selected does not meet with your approval, you can return to the current state.
11 Click OK.
Recovery Commander creates the Undo checkpoints, if you have chosen to create them, and then restores the selected checkpoint. Recovery Commander restarts your computer.
