Undoing a Restored Checkpoint

Each time you restore a checkpoint, you are asked if you want to create an Undo checkpoint. If you create an Undo checkpoint, Recovery Commander creates a checkpoint of your computer in its current state. Then, if you restore the checkpoint and your computer does not function properly, you can undo the restore.

To undo a restored checkpoint:

1       On the Fix & Maintain tab, click System Recovery and choose Restore Checkpoint.

2       Click Restore Checkpoint.

3       Select a Recovery Commander checkpoint named Undo checkpoint and the appropriate date.

4       To restore the entire checkpoint, see Restoring a Recovery Commander Checkpoint. To partially restore the checkpoint, see Partially Restoring a Checkpoint.
