Starting Your Computer With a Boot Disc

A bootable disc is a CD or DVD from which you can start your computer. If you purchased a boxed version of SystemSuite, you have an installation CD, which is also a bootable disc containing repair tools. If you purchased a download version of SystemSuite, you can use the Rescue Disk tool in Recovery Commander to create a bootable disc. The bootable disc can help you repair damaged configuration files, deleted system files, and a corrupted registry.

For information about creating a rescue disc, see Creating a Rescue Disk.
